What Gives a Sculpture Its Iconic Presence?
I do not believe a meaningful sculpture is simply chosen to match an interior.
It is recognized.
There is an immediate connection—something in its expression, attitude, or story that makes it impossible to see as just another object. Mass-produced decor may occupy an empty surface, but a sculpture with identity changes how the entire space is experienced.
For me, what makes a design iconic is never form alone. It is the emotion behind it. The tension it creates. The character it carries long after the first impression.
This belief shapes every AND ICONIC sculpture.
I bring together influences that are not usually expected to coexist: the visual language of street culture, the familiarity of pop icons, the strength of classical figures, and the polished presence of contemporary luxury. These contrasts allow each design to feel recognizable yet entirely transformed.
Many pieces are created in limited quantities because individuality loses its meaning when everything becomes endlessly repeated. I want each sculpture to retain its sense of discovery—to feel personal to the collector who chooses to live with it.
An AND ICONIC design is not created to remain quietly in the background. It changes the rhythm of a room. It draws the eye, creates curiosity, and begins conversations without needing an explanation.
I am not interested in designing pieces that simply follow what is already popular. I am interested in creating objects with enough confidence to stand beyond a season or trend.
Because being iconic is not about being louder than everything around you.
It is about having a presence that cannot be mistaken for anything else.
A beautiful object may be admired for a moment.
A truly iconic sculpture stays in the memory.
